STUDENT-FACULTY INTERACTION

Student-faculty interaction is about finding ways for students and faculty to interact in and outside of the classroom. These interactions can positively influence students’ orientation to, and investment in, their University experience and shape their future path to learning.

In focusing on teaching interactions, CTSI supports faculty in finding ways to connect with their students over course material, and to model for students how to think and solve problems. This creates more opportunities for faculty to engage with students and help them achieve their learning outcomes.

Further definition of this topic can be found on our Student-Faculty Interaction handout. PDF logo
